About Gwendolyn Hayes
Gwendolyn Hayes is a regional speaker and trainer for nonprofits. She is the founder and host of the ‘Your Sun is Coming: A So Deserving Women’s Conference to Nourish Your Spirit’. She has provided professional development training for state personnel staff and the higher education community. Gwendolyn has been a keynote for community action award meetings and spiritual renewal activities. She has over 20 years of community work with youth-at-risk and She is the children author of Mrs. Bumblebee and Her Counting Wings, and the upcoming Mrs. Bumblebee and Her Perfectly Perfect Nature Friends and currently completing her a new spiritual pocket book: God is a Wonder: Bedside Inspirations to Nourish Your Spirit. Gwendolyn received her Bachelor of Science and Master of Education from Kent State University. Gwendolyn, a licensed minister, serves at Second Baptist Church in Akron, Ohio. She has a Christian Education certification from Ashland University, and her Education Specialist degree in Organizational Leadership from Northcentral University focused on parent training. She is currently working towards her doctoral degree in organizational leadership focused on intergenerational relationships. She is the mother of two amazing adult children, four amazing stepchildren, along with a beautiful bouquet of grandchildren. She worships, writes, plays and works in Northeastern Ohio with her husband, a true blessing, and an amazing (did she stutter?) national traveling chef. It’s an amazing time, indeed!
